Non-Certified Staff Vacation Policy
A. A full-time employee employed 2080 hours or more per work year shall be entitled to 10 (ten) days of vacation each year. After nine (9) months of employment, vacation may be pro-rated for new full-time employees.
B. There will be no vacation for employees working less than 280 hours per work year.
C. Vacations may be scheduled at any time during the year after clearing through the Superintendent. The Superintendent reserves the right to reject requests for vacations at any time in order to maintain proper crew strength.
D. Days of vacation will be based upon years of employment.
• Years 1-10 10 days paid vacation
• Years 11-15 15 days paid vacation
• Years 16+ 20 days paid vacation
Vacation days will not be cumulative or allowed to carry over to the next school year. Days not used by July 1st will be lost.
Vacation days, without pay, may be requested.
There will be no payment for unused vacation days. All vacation days are on a use-it-or-lose it basis.
